JAMES VAN FLEET

BACKGROUND

James Van Fleet is a professional marine meteorologist with decades of experience forecasting weather for maritime operations. As former Chief Meteorologist of Royal Caribbean International, James developed the expertise to translate complex atmospheric and oceanic data into actionable intelligence for captains and mariners.

His work with Royal Caribbean required forecasting for some of the world's most demanding maritime environments, from the Caribbean to the North Atlantic. That experience now serves Florida and Bahamas charter operators who need the same caliber of professional weather intelligence.

Captain's Charter Weather was built specifically for the charter industry because James understands that a missed weather window costs real money and real disappointment. The site delivers the kind of forecast that a professional mariner actually needs: clear go/no-go assessments, port-by-port conditions, and the meteorological context to understand why conditions are what they are.
